I think it will be a good idea to use this blog page as a sort of portfolio/ideaboard/record of progression for the site, and as a way of informing any users (if any) of changes to the site and planned changes.
Current Plan:
- Move Backtalk from TiinyHost to 8TB, nothing against them, great site! But I like having everything self-hosted for a reason.
- Set up an email server for backend notifications
- Get a separate files link that better separates shared files and that allows upload for those with accounts
- Allow for account registration (per approval) and flesh out this blog system to support more people than me
- Maybe done during step 3, but add a collaborative docs program; I’m currently thinking Seafile or Obsidian.
- Add a links page (sort of like the Welcome! page) for off 8TB sites that I use/have content on/useful tools/anything else I want to share.
- Who knows what else! I have a lot of big ideas (maybe a new Minecraft server?!?), but I’m on the lacking side for time.
